Sweetland Stone Masons is a specialist stonemasonry and bricklaying practice serving the South West — new build, restoration and conservation.

Sweetland Stone Masons works across the South West on stonework and bricklaying built to be looked at closely — coursing that runs true, joints pointed to match the original, and stone dressed the way it was meant to be dressed.
Whether it's a new boundary wall, a full re-point on a listed building, or a fireplace opened back up and rebuilt in stone, every job is set out, laid and finished by hand. No shortcuts.
What we take on

New stonework & walling
Boundary walls, garden walls and new stone elevations, coursed and dressed to match the local aesthetic.
Restoration & repointing
Sympathetic repair of older and listed stonework, using lime mortars suited to the original build.
Bricklaying
Extensions, garden walls and brick-to-stone blending, laid to match bond and colour on existing builds.
Fireplaces & flagstone
Stone fireplaces, hearths and flagged floors, opened up, rebuilt or laid from scratch.
Listed & heritage work
Conservation-led repairs carried out with the methods and materials the original building calls for.
Garden & landscape stone
Steps, piers, planters and dry stone features to finish off a garden properly.
